(a) Explain the following methods of agricultural extension:
 (i)    group method;
(ii) mass method.                                                                                                (4 marks)

(b)    State three merits and three demerits of each of the methods in 10(a).                                                                                                                                                                (12 marks)

OBSERVATION

This question was very popular with the candidates.  In 10(a) (i and ii), majority of the
  candidates were able to explain the group and mass methods of agricultural extension.
 
  Also, in 10(b), majority of the candidates could state the merits and demerits of group
  and mass methods of agricultural extension.
