(i) insufficient exposure to the subject like in the area of calculations etc;
(ii) inadequate preparation;
(iii) not bringing the relevance and importance of the subject as applicable in the environment to the candidates;
(iv) lack of experienced and qualified instructors / teachers.
                             Suggested Remedies

It is suggested that the candidates be handled/exposed by experienced and qualified in structors/teachers; adequate preparation and practice of problems and exercises; the subject be taught to be true to life rather than being abstract.
