  1.        (i)        Define resistance.

(ii)        State two factors which affect the resistance of a conductor.

  1. The resistance of a conductor is 40 Ω. If the cross-sectional area of the conductor is 4 x 10-6 m2 and resistivity is 1.783 x 10-6 Ωm, calculate the length of the conductor.
