(b) Arrange, in order of sequence, the procedures involved in setting headlamp beam.
(i) Set the focus of the headlamp to be slightly below the intersection of vertical and horizontal lines of the screen.
(ii) Park the vehicle at a distance of 6-10 meters from the screen.
(iii) Place the vehicle on level ground.
(iv) Lock the setting screw of the headlamp.
(v) Align the vertical lines of the chart screen with centre line of headlamp.

Second – park the vehicle at a distance of 6 – 10 meters from the screen
Third – align the vertical lines of the chart screen with central line of headlamps
Fourth – set the focus of the headlamps to be slightly below the intersection of vertical and horizontal lines of the screen
Fifth – lock the setting screw of the headlamp.
The candidates were required to list three type headlamps, and arranged in order sequence five procedures involved in setting headlamp beam.
It was reported that many that attempted this question were not familiar with types of headlamps. The performance was good.
