The Standard of the paper was high and comparable with those of previous years. The rubrics were clear, the questions were unambiguous and within the scope of the syllabus. The marking scheme was exhaustive and flexible. The performance of the candidates was slightly better than that of the previous year giving the mean score of 19 and a standard deviation of 9.54 compared with a mean score of 16 and a standard deviation of 19.49 for May June 2007 W ASSCE.
