This was the more popular question in this section and candidates scored fair marks. Most
candidates could explain immunity, and translocation, state ways by which a person becomes
immune to yellow fever as well as name diseases against which babies are immunized but lost
marks due to wrong spelling of diseases.

Most candidates could however not state the differences and similarities between transport systems
in flowering plants and animals. A few candidates could only state one similarity i.e. use of a fluid
medium. Expected answers include:
