Draw to a scale of 1:50, the detailed section A - A of the building from foundation to the roof.
Most candidates were able to:

•  locate the doors and windows correctly;
•  show the correct graphical representation of windows in section;
•  use sectional drawing to illustrate the assemblage of the roof structure's timber
  members.

However, some of them failed to:

• lay the strip foundation at the depth specified;
  - draw the required building section to scale;
  - draw the semi-circular arches;
• dimension and label the spaces between the floor and ceiling;
  -  show the wardrobe in elevation.
