The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of the previous years. The questions were precise, straightforward and within the scope of the syllabus. The rubrics were clearly stated while the Marking Scheme was well structured and comprehensive with marks well distributed.
There was a slight drop in candidates' performance when compared with that of last year. As usual, candidates performed better in Sections A and B as in Section C.
