Although a popular question, the performance of the candidates was on the average level. The candidates handled it poorly as they did not mention the discension in the early church that gave rise to the appointment of the deacons which was as a result of the feud between the converted Jews and the Hellenists. And only a few of them mentioned the names of the deacons.
But almost all of them performed creditably well to get the four marks for the ‘b’ part as they all knew some of the social problems facing the church of today.
