The standard of the paper like in previous years was maintained. The rubrics were clear, concise and unambiguous. The questions were well structured and within the scope of the syllabus. The marking scheme was detailed, clear and fair to all candidates.
The candidates’ raw mean score was 24 with a standard deviation of  09.59 an indication that their performance was a little bit poorer than that of May/June 2011 WASSCE where the raw mean score was 24 with a standard deviation of 9.27
