The standard of the paper was good and it compared favourably with those of previous years. The rubrics were clear and unambiguous. The questions were well structured, and within the scope of the examination syllabus. The marking scheme was flexible and fair to candidates.
With a raw mean score of 18 and standard deviation of 9.11 the performance of the candidates was similar to that of Nov/Dec. 2006 WASSCE when the raw was also with mean score was 18 with standard deviation of 8.37.
