The quality of this paper was very good. The standard of the papericompared
satisfactorily witH those of the previous years. The paper tested candidates'
ability to:
(1) show understanding and insight into the deduction of knowledge, facts and theorems.

(2) apply the knowledge of practical applications of electronics devices, theory and instruments.

The rubrics were clear with the demand of each question clearly stated in easy and embracing expression. The questions characteristically covered the 'examination
syllabus. The marking scheme was articulate.
