The main weakness of these candidates was their inability to interpret questions correctly. The questions that required them to list and describe, the candidates only listed and failed to describe. Some made terrible spelling mistakes and poor expression with illegible handwritings. Another weakness was that, some of them failed to state every question on a fresh page.

In order to overcome these weaknesses, the teachers should expose their students to the areas stated above. Candidates should expose themselves to topics on recipe and recipes development. They should also be encouraged to use recommended textbooks and study well to cover the syllabus.
