This question tested the definition of Human Nutrition, tests for Proteins, definition and examples of Macro Elements. Even though a large proportion of candidates answered the question, many were still unable to appropriately interpret the question. This is particularly apparent in the manner in which question 1c was answered, many candidates were unable to state the Macro Elements and listed classes of foods instead.
