Question 6 was on dishes and drinks that can be made from ginger, recipe for one of these dishes and examples of two fermented and two citrus flavourings. This question was not popular among the candidates and it was one of their weaknesses. There were bad attempts to answer this question and the few that attempted did not answer the question correctly.

It appeared there was no deep understanding of the question as majority of candidates that attempted the question gave the recipe with ingredients but with no quantity. Also, a lot of guesses were made regarding the examples of fermented and citrus flavourings
