The Chief Examiner reported that the standard of the paper compared favourably with those of previous years.  According to the report, all the questions were drawn from topics that were within the syllabus and there was none that was ambiguous. The marking scheme was clear and flexible enough to accommodate alternative solutions that were presented by the candidates.
The Chief Examiner also reported that there appeared to be no significant difference in the performance of candidates when compared to those of previous years.
