Each candidate was expected to attempt this compulsory question. The performance of the candidates in the question was just fair. Many candidates could not draw the cross profile properly. A few of the candidates designed self made question on map enlargement or reduction for themselves. Quite a good number of the candidates were able to describe the settlement pattern in the mapped area. Many of the candidates were able to correctly calculate the length of River Jamtari and were able to list the man- made and physical features in the area marked by ABCD.
