This question was not popular among the candidates but the few that attempted it performed well generally. They performed better in Parts (b) and (c)
Some candidates did not explain their points fully to earn maximum marks and in part (b) some candidates described the factors that favour the location of industries without reference to brewery industry. The factors that favour the location of brewery industry are:
- availability of raw materials
- nearness to market;
- regular power supply;
- availability of capital;
- adequate transportation facilities;
- availability of labour.
