One important river that takes it sources from any of the highlands
       ((iii) named in (a)(i) and (ii).

(b)     Highlight four ways in which rivers are important to the economy of Africa.       
(c)     Outline three problems limiting the use of African rivers.

Many of the candidates answered this question. Their performance in the map aspect was poor. Most of those who answered the question were able to list the points as required by the (b) and (c) aspects of the question but some did not explain the points to obtain full marks. They were expected to substantiate their points whenever they are instructed to outline or highlight.
