This question was fairly popular with the candidates.  Majority of the candidates that attempted it knew the demands of the question and gave the required four points that the question demanded.  They were handsomely rewarded for this. However, some few weak candidates could not score very good marks in the question because they misinterpreted the question. These candidates wrote on the functions of the Civil Service instead of the Commission.  This retarded the overall candidates’ performance in the question to average.Below are some of the functions of Civil Service Commission expected from the candidates.
