The observed weaknesses of the candidates include:
- Poor spelling of technical terms;
- Poor knowledge of experimental procedures;
- Poor understanding of concepts of postural defects, lymphatic system and reflex actions.
The following remedies were proffered to overcome these weaknesses:
- Teachers and pupils should devote adequate time and effort to prepare for examinations;
- Teachers of Health Science should be health science experts not teachers co-opted from other sciences;
- Candidates should be exposed to practical work.
