OBSERVATION

This question was attempted by many candidates and their performance was impressive, except in question (a)(ii) and b(ii). Candidates failed to mention types of body immunity, they mentioned antibodies and innoculation instead of natural acquired immunity and artificial passive immunity. The expected answers to part b(ii) were as follows:

First Aids Treatment of  poison victim
- Place on his side/recovery position;
- If unconscious look around for clues of what the victim ingested/interview the victim if conscious.
- If ingested substance is corrosive give large quantities of water/milk;
- If non-corrosive induce vomiting by tickling the back of victims' throat/give the victim a glass of solution of common salt and water
- Consult a doctor
