Candidates’ strengths were observed in the following areas: Some of the candidates adhered to the rubrics and selected the required number of questions.  Few candidates gave a good account of themselves in the essay part of the paper.  Some of the candidates were able to stick to the required points by not being verbose when giving their answers. Some candidates who were familiar with the literature texts answered questions on them correctly
