Some of the weaknesses of candidates reported by Chief Examiners are as follows:

• Wrong interpretation of questions.
• Evident ignorance of the standard of WAEC questions in the Subject.
• Lack of adequate English vocabulary for the expression of their answers.

 

      SUGGESTED REMEDIES

  In order to remedy the above weaknesses of candidates, it was suggested that candidates should read the instructions and the questions carefully so as to understand the requirements of each question before answering it. Also, the procurement of relevant text books of Islamic Studies and the Examination Syllabus of WAEC was also recommended for candidates.
