Question 1

Consider Barrister Onyimdze as a defender of African culture.

Observation

Candidates were expected to discuss the following points:

-  Barrister Onyimdze’s love for and practice of African culture in form of dressing, food, drinks and games.

  • His blunt refusal to marry a European lady while in England.

  • His employment of Okadu whom he teaches to appreciate African values.
  • His brilliant argument in favour of traditional marriage in Tsiba-Okadu’s case.

  • His general defense of African values which finally turns opponents of African culture around.

The question was popular among the candidates and the performance was good.
