The traditional beliefs are many in the text. These include polygamous
marriages, inheritance of wife, and importance of child bearing: belief in male
supremacy, reincarnation, sacrifices and superstitious beliefs. This question
requires candidates to show that Africans are deep-rooted in their tradition and
also show that these beliefs are not portrayed altogether in positive light.
Many candidates attempted the question and did well.
