Candidates' Weaknesses
Questions were not answered as expected by the candidates and most
candidates merely narrated the storyline in the texts. Questions on
techniques were shunned by the candidates and performance was
generally poor.
Suggested Remedies
- Candidates should be encouraged to read and prepare for the
examination thus prescribed books should be made available for
libraries by stakeholders in -education.
- Attendance of tutorial classes/school by private candidates will
boost their performance in examination.
- Candidates must learn the skills of literary appreciation which is
needed for answering questions in Literature-In-English.
