A SUMMARY OF CANDIDATES’ WEAKNESSES

Candidates’ weakness was seen in their inability to attempt the machining exercise.
    SUGGESTED REMEDIES TO OVERCOME THE WEAKNESSES

            In order to overcome the weaknesses, it was suggested that:

-           principals of schools should purchase the necessary machines and equipment such as to centre lathe, drilling machine and shaping machines;         
-           technical personnel should be trained and deployed to various schools nationwide to teach the students;
-           schools should be equipped with standby plants during the examination.
