The following weaknesses were identified in candidates' answers:
           (1)       inadequate preparation for the examination;
           (2)       poor knowledge of the musical terms;
           (3)       ignorance of the syllabus.

In order to overcome the weaknesses identified above, candidates are advised to adequately prepare for the examination by studying the syllabus to know its content and reading relevant text books so as to have an in-dept knowledge of the various musical instruments
