(a) State the key signature and the time signature of the music
(b) For what media is the piece arranged?

(d) Mention any two compositional techniques used in the opening bar.


The chord progressions in the extracts (i) and (ii) above are suggestive of transient modulations. Identify the key into which each chord progression in (e)(i) and (ii) modulate.

Observation

Quite a number of candidates who studied the set works for question 2 scored high marks while those who failed to study the set-works either performed poorly or out rightly avoided the question
