(a)   Mention any three musical instruments used in each of any two of the following festivals:
    (i) Ogun;
    (ii) Argungu;
    (iii) IfejiokuSango;
    (iv) Atilogwu.

(b)   Identify any two aerophones each commonly found in
    
(i) Western Nigeria;
     (ii) Northern Nigeria.


(c)   Classify each of the following instruments into their families:
    (i) Alo;
    (ii) Ekutu;
    (iii) Taburu;
    (iv) Tioko; Ganga.

Observation

This question on African music is also popular among the candidates and most of the candidates performed fairly while a few could not demonstrate an understanding of the requirements. This made such candidates to lose some of the obtainable marks.

            (ii)        Alghaita, Kalangu, kakaki, gangan.

             (v)        Ekwe, Udu, Ogene, Ngelenge.

            (ii)        Northern Nigeria – Alghaita, kakaki, kaho, tioko
