General Comments

The standard of the paper compared favorably with those of previous years.
The questions were unambiguous and covered a wide range of the syllabus.
  The marking scheme was flexible and comprehensive.

The performance of the candidates was poorer than the previous year
with a candidates population of 5,931 which had a raw mean score of
  20 and standard deviation of 9.59  against a raw mean score
of 31 and standard deviation of  14.90 WASSCE, which had a candidates population of  9,861.
