Some of the candidates could not transfer accurate measurement to their workpiece and thus forming the template was difficult for them.

            (2)       SUGGESTED REMEDIES FOR OVERCOMING WEAKNESSES

                        In order to overcome these weaknesses, heads of schools were advised to
recruit well-trained technical personnel to teach their students properly before sitting for examination.  It was also suggested that WAEC should be making periodical visit to schools to ascertain if they have the tools and equipment for the subject.  Process assessment of candidates should be adopted as against the product assessment being currently used.
