Candidates demonstrated competency in the following areas.

• Representation of composed objects in good shape and accurate proportion.
• Technical application of graded tones in bringing out forms and indicating source of light and contrast between shapes.
• Indication of background and baseline in their compositions and this have prevented the pictures from hanging in space.
• Good layout, obtained through the appropriate use of space (paper).
