This question requires that candidates draw the composed items from close observation (i.e. not more than 6ft away where the whole or part of the four musical instruments could be seen. However, it was one of the candidates' favourite questions. Many candidates attempted it and made very good drawing to earn good marks.
Only few candidates made very poor drawings; in some cases, objects were drawn singly in scattered form instead of grouping the items in well-balanced composition.
