(1)       A SUMMARY OF CANDIDATES’ WEAKNESSES

Candidates’ weaknesses were shown in their inability to spell some technical terms correctly.  They could not also attempt the question on weld defects.

            (2)       SUGGESTED REMEDIES FOR OVERCOMING THE WEAKNESSES

In order to overcome the weaknesses, candidates were advised to study the whole syllabus before sitting for examination.  They were also advised to learn the spellings of technical terms.
