The paper was of a high standard as in  previous years and within the scope of the 
                          examination syllabus. The rubrics were clear, the questions were straight  forward and 
                          the marking scheme was exhaustible. 
                          
                          The performance of the candidates was better  than that of the previous year indicating 
                          an improvement in the level of understanding of the demands of the questions. 
                          
                          The candidate population of 181,354 had a  raw mean score of 16 and a standard 
                          deviation of 7.00 compared to the November/December 2009 WASSCE with a 
                          candidate population of 189,358, a raw mean score of 12 and standard deviation  of 
                          7.14
