(b) Give two functions of each of the following farm machines and implements:
(i) bulldozer;
(ii) combine harvester;
(iii) tractor;
(iv) sprayer;

This question was popular with the candidates. In lea) (i and ii), majority of the candidates were able to
state ways in which science and technology have contributed to agricultural development through crop
protection and, climatology and meteorology.
Further to this, in 1 (b) (i - v), majority of the candidates could give the functions of farm machines and
implements (i.e. bulldozer, combine harvester, tractor, sprayer and planter). |
