• discuss the economic importance of insect – pests in agriculture;
• identify egg candler, brooder, lantern and water rough;
• identify problems associated with the use of lantern in poultry production;
• identify thermometer as the instrument used to measure temperature in brooder box; and
• state that 21 days is the incubation period of eggs in domestic fowls.
