Most of the candidates were unable to:
(i) obtain correct measurements using the measuring instruments;
(ii) to place the units of quantities measured properly i.e. mixing up 'milli'and 'micro.'
(b)Suggested Remedies
To remedy these weaknesses, it is suggested that:
constant practice through exposure to experimental
situations involving the use of measuring instruments be
carried out;
teachers should endeavour to take the candidates through
mock examination practical sessions.
