The expected answers were:

Layout diagram of high voltage overhead transmission system from generating station to the various consumers.

Any two  of the following

Transformer
Voltage regulators
Busbars
Circuit breakers
Protective relays
High voltage fuses.

The question was on Electrical Energy Supply. The question was unpopular. The performance of the very few that attempted it was woeful.

There was no evidence from the candidates’ answers that they were taught this topic at all.
