Candidates for this Examination displayed some weaknesses which culminated in a declined performance. Some of these weaknesses as noticed by Chief Examiners include:
- commission of grammatical mistakes;
- misinterpretation of questions;
- evidence of non –reading of some of the prescribed texts in Arabic
literature.
4 SUGGESTED REMEDIES
Following the above weaknesses, candidates are required and urged to read questions carefully and understand the demands of every question before answering them. Also in preparation for future examinations, basic rules of Arabic Grammar should be learned and mastered for a better command of Arabic language. These, coupled with procurement of prescribed texts for Arabic Literature, will enhance an improved performance in the Subject.
