• lack of in depth knowledge of the set texts.

SUGGESTED REMEDIES

In view of the observed candidates’ weaknesses, there is a need for candidates to read the instructions carefully before answering the questions. Also, the selected texts in Arabic should be procured so as to improve on their performance in the literature aspect. As private candidates, branch and zonal offices are there to give information on the new texts. With this, better performance is guaranteed for future candidates.
