The standard of the paper was high and compared favourably with those of previous years.
The rubrics were clear. The questions were unambiguous and within the scope of the
syllabus. The marking scheme was exhaustive and flexible.
The performance of the candidates was a lot better than that of the previous year,
considering the mean score of 28 and standard deviation of 10.34 compared to a mean
score 18 and standard deviation of 8.54 for the Nov/Dec 2010 WASSCE.
