This question that required Paul’s teachings on the resurrection was poorly handled. The argument presented in support were scanty and as a result their scores were generally low. Some even wrote on Jesus’ second coming. They failed to link up Christian faith with Christ’s resurrection. Vital points not mentioned were:
- Paul rebuked the view held by some Corinthians that Jesus did not rise from the dead.
- Physical body/flesh and blood cannot inherit the spiritual form/body of resurrection.
- At resurrection physical body changes to spiritual to bear Jesus’s image.
In the (b) part, they applied residual knowledge which paid off and earned them few marks..
