The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of the previous years. The questions were very precise, well framed, clearly worded, straightforward and within the scope of the syllabus. The rubrics were clearly stated and the marking scheme was well structured and comprehensive, with marks well distributed.

There was a significant improvement in candidates' performance this year when compared with the previous year.
