The Standard of the paper was good and compared favourably with those of previous years. The rubrics were clear and concise. The questions were well structured and covered a wide scope of the examination syllabus. The marking scheme was detailed, flexible and fair to candidates.
The candidates’ raw mean score of 35 and standard deviation of 17.01 indicated that their performance was better than that of the Nov/Dec. 2007 WASSCE when the raw mean score was 31 with standard deviation of 18.3.
