The Standard of the paper was high and compared favourably with those of previous years. The rubrics were clear, concise and unambiguous. The questions were well structured and achieved a wide coverage of the examination syllabus. The marking scheme was flexible and fair to candidates.
The raw mean score of 38 and standard deviation of 18.65 indicated that the performance was better than that of the Nov/Dec. 2008 WASSCE which has a raw mean score of 35 with standard deviation of 17.00.
