The standard of the paper was good and compared favourably with those of the
previous years. The rubrics were clear and concise. The questions were well
constructed and within the scope ofthe examination syllabus. The marking
scheme was straight forward, flexible and fair to candidates.
The candidates' raw mean score of 15 with standard deviation of 0.800 showed
that their performance was poorer than that of the November/December 2009
WASSCE when the raw mean score was 18 with standard deviation of 10.39.
