The standard of the paper was very good and compared favourably with those of previous years. The questions were clearly worded, structured and within the scope of the syllabus.
The rubrics were clear and concise. The marking scheme was detailed, flexible and fair to the candidates.
The performance of the candidates was a little poorer than that of last year as a candidature of 159110 recorded a raw mean score of 06 and a standard deviation of 03.46 as against a candidature of 127396 with a raw mean score of 08 and a standard deviation of 03.46 in November/December 2010 WASSCE.
